Catholic Church prays against corruption in Nigeria daily - Kukah

Bishop of Sokoto Diocese, Mathew Hassan Kukah, has restated Catholic Church’s assist against corruption battle in Nigeria.

Kukah revealed that Catholic Church Mass prayers against bribery and corruption are said on a daily basis.

He said on Thursday, whereas commending the efforts of the Monetary and Financial Crimes Price (EFCC).

Kukah obtained the Sokoto Zonal Head, Bawa Usman Kaltungo.

He prayed for the official’s success in the responsibility ahead of him.

“To whom lots is given, moderately extra is predicted”, the revered cleric said.

Kaltungo acknowledged that Nigeria desires the assistance, counsel and prayers of the clergy to win the battle against corruption and financial crimes.
